The foremost photos showcase the first days of farmwork when our Contractors Workers executed the mandate and stormed the virgin land to clear a small section of land by logging all the trees at reach, February 2024.
Before the work begun, the land had never been in use for decades right from the time when indigenous had abandoned their settlements and migrated elsewhere within the region.
However, during our research and consultations process, the very same indigenous granted their recommendations and encouraged the Lowlands Agriventure to proceed in developing the land through farming and physical development.
It was a hard task to endevour at first yet endured through dedication and control. We therefore recognise the hardwork of men and women hired for the task and will forever remember their commitment by displaying the trail of their activities in the farm through pictures and photos on this page.
These first Contractors made up of men and women, were predominantly residents of Nyinenyang Administrative Town in Makuey Woreda, Gambella Region, Ethiopia.
The Lowlands Agriventure will always remain thankful to its first Contractors in its journey to become one of the growing agribusiness corporations in the region.
