What
We Do

Emergence of Lowlands Agriventure PLC
Lowlands Agriventure came about as a carried on vision that would have otherwise intensified 8 years before, which had not been possible. In the end of 2023, a window of opportunity was realised and the vision was restored. After a series of research and enquiries about the target location, the required consultation sessions kicked off with Nyinenyang Administrative Government in conjunction with Gambella Regional Government. In February 2024, two (2) members reached the consensus to launch the project and the first Contractors Workers commenced work in the farm's virgin land.

Having acquired 50 hectares of the land we operate on was a great milestone in our investment ideology in the area. Our goal is to turn a portion of the western lowlands of Gambella Region into food producing basket with primary beneficiaries being the communities that indirectly host our designated property and the business we run. We recognise the traditional and cultural values of the land and its people while taking into account the government obligations as we continue investing on the land. We are committed to sustainable farming and supply of quality organic crops in demand by the thriving communities and businesses. However, the purpose of our investment is to generate profit as we will always attempt to affordably sell to the small businesses, retailers and individuals striving to flourish in the local market. We're fond to producing organic products as we utilize eco-friendly farming practices that preserve biodiversity throughout the production process. We're and will always be a friend to the communities we serve.

What We Do
Lowlands Agriventure is an agricultural investment entity promoting food production through farming in the western lowlands of Gambella State Region, Makuey Woreda, Ethiopia. Our first farming project is taking place 5 km a way from the closest Township, Nyinenyang. We're situated along the major Freeway connecting Gambella to Matar Administrative Town, Wanthoa Woreda, border of south Sudan and Ethiopia. Our farm is also bordered by a tributary or river, making the irrigation possible at all times. We operate on a 50 hectares (approx. 120 Acres) of land, focusing on selective food crops, those on high demand by local wholesalers, businesses, retailers and individuals. At this stage, we only rely on rainwater for farming as we are working on installation of modern irrigation systems, so we maximize chances of more than one farming seasons per a year. We chose our location for good reasons, including soil fertility, proximity to the River and streams and also the distance from domestic livestock which could be a nuisanse to crops and properties.

Our Farming Practices
Our farming practices are deemed safe and conventional in the area.
We simply employ the popular combination farming methods; machinery and human labour.
Human labour is most in demand and an ongoing type of service since machinery
methods are required merely for major activities such as land clearance,
soil ploughing and tilling, usually a seasonal pursuit.
